YOU & I ARE MADE BY GOD
IN OUR MOTHER'S WOMB
WE BECOME SINNERS
FROM OUR YOUTH

by Jacques More

Did you know that God made you, yes you, in your mother's womb?
God said, to Jeremiah,

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; and I ordained you a prophet to the nations.

Jeremiah 1:5

Yes, but that was Jeremiah, you might say.
Well, David also said,

I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.

Psalm 139:14

This was all about David's own time in the womb:

For You have formed my inward parts; You have covered me in my mother's womb.

Psalm 139:13

And yes, that is true for every ONE of us:

Did not He who made me in the womb make them? Did not the same One fashion us in the womb?

Job 31:15

And more than that, when we were born we were without guile, since we were without knowledge of good or evil: this is what God says about the little children whom God would allow into the land of Israel and not their unbelieving parents:

Moreover your little ones and your children, who you say will be victims, who today have no knowledge of good and evil, they shall go in there; to them I will give it, and they shall possess it.

Deuteronomy 1:39

God says every soul belongs to Him, so we know every one of us belongs to God and are made by Him at OUR OWN beginning:

Behold, all souls are Mine; the soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is Mine; the soul who sins shall die.

Ezekiel 18:4

Yes, we are known by God as innocent when we are/were little:
God brought judgment on the people of Israel because they shed innocent blood,

Because they have forsaken Me and made this an alien place, because they have burned incense in it to other gods whom neither they, their fathers, nor the kings of Judah have known, and have filled this place with the blood of the innocents

Jeremial 19:4

And to whom belonged this innocent blood?
Their own children:

(they have also built the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings to Baal, which I did not command or speak, nor did it come into My mind),

Jeremiah 19:5

We are:
Made by God, innocent
without guile, belonging to God

A friend asked me:
"Hi, Jacques, in regards to one of your recent posts [The above 1st made an appearance on my Facebook Wall]... If God directly formed us in the womb, wouldn't that mean He intended for some of us to be born sick and deformed . . . ?"
Here was my reply:
Hi . . .
It is good that we are not left without a witness to that: God replied to Moses who had argued that he was unfit to be used by God, because of a disability, God said,

Who has made man's mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the Lord?

Exodus 4:11

So the real question is, why and for what purpose?
This is where Jesus' words come in, when he replied to his disciples about the man who was born blind:

Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth.
And His disciples asked Him, saying,
"Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?"
Jesus answered,
"Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him."

John 9:1-3

WE BECOME SINNERS FROM OUR YOUTH

But, I hear you say, are we not all sinners?

Yes, once we sin we are no longer acting as children of God, but we alienate ourselves from Him and become His enemy, we adopt a new nature: that of a child of wrath (Colossians 1:21; Romans 5:10; Ephesians 2:3)

We all become sinners:

For there is not a just man on earth who does good and does not sin.

Ecclesiastes 7:20

But, as an observation in his own lifetime the (same) Preacher says,

Here is what I have found . . . says the Preacher . . . my soul still seeks but I cannot find . . . I have found . . . I have not found.

Ecclesiastes 7:27-28

From this very observation context, he says:

Truly, this only I have found: that God made man upright, but they have sought out many schemes.

Ecclesiastes 7:29

We each are made and born upright, but we all become sinners.
We are not sinners from conception, birth or infancy, but from youth.
We are told that we become wicked *FROM YOUTH*; not before:

the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth

Genesis 8:21

And we each choose this as our *OWN WAY*; not Adam's way.

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

Isaiah 53:6

For all of us to "turn" and that to turn to our "own way", we must all have been in the right way first: i.e. when we were conceived, born and infants.

But, where does being born again come in?
And, didn't Paul say "in Adam all die" (1 Corinthians 15:22)?

EACH OF US ARE IN THE BOOK
FROM OUR BEGINNING

What about Romans 5:12 then?
I also recommend my article:

ORIGINAL SIN

Here also is an article to show that for about 400 years the early church taught this:

The Early Church:
Original Sin
Fallen nature
Man's part in salvation
