Chapter - Romans 8:28

This is not the contents of the chapter, but a glimpse to promote the book.

This chapter does a number of things all related to Romans 8:28.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

The translator, correctly placing "His" in italics, since it is not translating a word in the Greek, is not however adding to the understanding of the passage, but completely subverting the intent of the original by adding it. To demonstrate this the chapter highlights from the context how this is a passage central to Paul's teaching of conditional predestination. The chapter then highlights issues relating to translation of the Greek and to the understanding in context that would have prevented a subverting addition.

The appendix about the Greek word PROTHESIS is mentioned as this word translated as "purpose" in Romans 8:28 also highlights more as the Septuagint shows by its regular rendering for the "shewbread". Paul in context is highlighting the heart of the person, as mentioned in Romans 8:27, as the reason, the "purpose/showing" which leads to God working "all things into good".

But we know that He works all things into good for the ones loving God for they are the ones called according to a displayed intent.
